Nicholas West is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner in the UK by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. West Advisory Limited is registered in England & Wales with registered number 12957349. The registered office is at e-Innovation Centre, Priorslee, Telford, TF2 9FT.
Rules Governing Actions
All Insolvency Practitioners are bound by the rules of their professional body, including any that relate specifically to insolvency. The rules of the professional body that licences Nicholas West can be found here
In addition, Insolvency Practitioners are bound by the Statements of Insolvency Practice (SIPs), details of which can be found here
Ethics
All Insolvency Practitioners are required to comply with the Insolvency Code of Ethics and a copy of the Code can be found here
Professional Indemnity Insurance
In accordance with the disclosure requirements of the Provision of Services Regulations 2009, our Professional Indemnity insurer is QBE UK Limited, Plantation Place, 30 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 3BD. The territorial coverage is worldwide, excluding business conducted in the United States of America or Canada and excludes any action for a claim brought in any court of either of those two countries.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The Contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim, dispute or difference concerning the Contract and any matter arising from it.

Quality of Service
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the services you are receiving, please contact the engagement partner. We will carefully consider any complaint we receive and, if we believe that we have given a less than satisfactory service, we will take all reasonable steps to put it right.
Whilst we undertake to look into any complaint carefully and promptly and to do all we can to explain the position to you, if you remain unsatisfied, you have the right to refer the matter to the Insolvency Complaints Gateway which is operated by the Insolvency Service, an Executive Agency of the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
Complaints can be submitted via an online complaints form at www.gov.uk/complain-about-insolvency-practitioner (Guidance for those who wish to complain can also be found on this site). If you have difficulty accessing the online complaints form you can also make any complaint through the Insolvency Service Enquiry Line - email insolvency.enquiryline@insolvency.gov.uk or alternatively telephone 0300 678 0015 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm).
We would hope that before taking your complaint to the Insolvency Practitioner’s recognised professional body that you would allow us to try to resolve the complaint. We have set out below our complaint’s procedure.
Step 1
Should you have any comments or complaints regarding this matter you should contact Nicholas West on 01952 350 530 in the first instance. If you are not satisfied with the response which you receive, please follow step 2.
Step 2
Please address your complaint in writing to Nicholas West, West Advisory, e-Innovation Centre, Priorslee, Telford, TF2 9FT or by email to nw@westadvisory.co.uk. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint in writing. We endeavour to respond in writing to all complaints within period of 21 days of receipt. This period of time allows for an investigation of the matters that have been raised (if appropriate). Following receipt of our response if you do not consider that your complaint has been dealt with adequately or fully, please follow step 3.
Step 3
If you are still not satisfied with the response that you have received, then you have the right to complain to the recognised professional body which governs the insolvency practitioner as per the procedure set out above.
